Asian Dining Reimagined
Lotus Dining Group approached Skyfield Co with a clear determination to make a bold impact in the cut-throat restaurant industry. With an impressive ten restaurants under their belt, their first order of business was to revamp their website design to match their grand vision and improve online user experience. However, the challenge was daunting – how to enable all visitors to find what they were looking for in just three clicks.
With Skyfield Co’s expertise, they identified two distinct methods people use to search for information – logical and wordy methods and emotional and visualised methods. The first section of the home page catered to both types of visitors, allowing them to easily reserve a table or order takeout from any of the ten restaurants. Visitors could delve deeper into each restaurant by scrolling down or using the direct restaurant button on the main menu. A side menu was designed for customers to take action quickly considering the amount of content this website holds.
As one of the sub-brand, Lotus dumpling Bar have now grown to be one of the most valuable fast food brand, to distinguish it from the rest of the restaurants we designed the page with a slightly quirky twist to attract young customers yet remains unity to Lotus Group visually.
The result was nothing short of remarkable – a significant increase in website traffic, reservations, and takeaways. By reducing external links and increasing the time visitors spent on the site, the client saw tremendous growth. Thanks to Skyfield Co’s innovative solutions, Lotus Dining Group is well on their way to standing out in the restaurant industry.
